Elena Espinoza

Since I was in high school, I have felt called to serve missionaries through my gifts in photo and video. I attended Southeastern University and God used my time there to equip me for that calling. While at SEU, I earned a Bachelor’s in Communications, worked for SEU’s marketing departments, and completed a Master’s in Theological Studies. I am engaged to an MK who grew up in Southern Asia. It is a privilege for us to serve MKs together and learn from his experiences on the mission field.

I was first involved with ISMK while working as the Media Coordinator for the MK summer program. I quickly learned how media serves in capturing the life-changing moments these MKs have at these programs and retreats. It gives MKs tangible memories of their time with friends and with the Lord that help them through their transitions on and off the mission field. Media is what God used to open the door to this ministry and is a large part of my assignment. However, it also gives me the opportunity to build relationships and mentor MKs all over the world. I am so thankful God has allowed me to be a part of this team and ministry.
