August 2018 Update – Cristi

Missionary Training and Renewal

What a busy summer it has been! The month of June was non-stop as candidate and veteran missionaries assembled for Missionary Training and Missionary Renewal. We trained and commissioned nearly 100 new MKs who are being sent with their parents to every corner of the globe. Its always awesome to see the fruit of the MK Program as our MK staff pour into the next generation of MKs!

MK School

As you may recall, earlier this year I told you about the launching of our MK School. This summer was monumental for the school and marked the completion of the school’s first year. We celebrated with an official graduation for our first MK graduates, two MKs from India and South Africa. The MK team and I are thrilled at the progress the school is making and the stories of hope we are hearing from our missionary community. For those that have been praying for our school, thank you! It has been the answer to many missionary prayers and has met the needs of so many of our families world wide.

Give or Go

ISMK coordinates multiple international MK Task Forces each  year and we are always looking for quality staff who are willing to go and serve our MKs on each one. If you would like to know more about MK Task Forces, would like to serve on an MK Task Force individually or send a team from  your church, please email me at alexander.cristi@gmail.com and I will add you to our Task Force info list.

Thank You

Thank you for your love, prayers, and financial support! I’m approaching the end of my third year in the MK Pastoral Care role and it has been a rich journey. I’vetravelled more than ever and have developed new and stronger relationships with missionaries and MKs around the globe. It has had its challenges, as any ministry does, but I am constantly grateful to serve in a capacity that I truly love and look forward to doing so for many years to come. Thank you for your role in sending me! You are a gift to me and to The Kingdom!
