Missions Trips
Each applicant is required to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot on the trip. Most trips are limited to 12-15 MKs (including leaders). The $100 deposit is included in the overall cost of the trip. Most trips will cost about $800 to $1,000 above airfare, depending on the location of the trip.
It is the MK’s responsibility to raise the money for the trip (including airfare). To assist in fund raising, you will be provided a sample support raising letter. You are also permitted to transfer money from your (00) accounts to help with trip costs. Approval from your Regional Director is required before account transfers can be made. Full support must be raised prior to the trip date.
Upcoming Trips:
We are planning an MK Missions Trip next summer to Cambodia.
We will be working with Bwana Paul & Larissa Dobson! For the
first few days we will be ministering at an MK retreat, followed by some time
ministering locally. We are very pumped to be able to do this. We have had missions
trips in Africa, Europe and LAC... Now, it is time for Asia Pacific!!
Dates: July 21 - August 3, 2012
Tentative Cost: Airfare, plus $800.00
Help: Funds can come from parents (00), if they have funds to help.
Who: We want high schoolers, and some leaders. Looking for 12-13 MKs to join
us.
Focus: The focus of this trip is actually discipleship. We are planning to have
lots of personal growth times during this trip, including Bible studies and
some growth opportunities. We are excited to be combining discipleship and
missions.
