Hello, MKs! My name is Steve Puffpaff. My family moved to Jamaica in 1989. I lived there for five years as a child, and my parents still live there. After my time on the field, I was not ready for college so I went into a Master's Commission program in inner city Detroit. I was there two years, and then enrolled myself in at Brownsville School of Ministry (a Bible college) in Pensacola, Florida. It was vastly different from Detroit, but none the less it was exactly where I was supposed to be. After Bible school, I moved to northern Michigan to be a youth pastor in a community of about 5,000 people. Once again, this was different from anything else I had done, but God led me there, and he revived my heart for the youth of America. After three years of experiencing the “great white north,” I felt it was time to go to the mission field. God led me to join Book of Hope International, where I traveled to 16 nations and spoke to 700,000 youth and children. We planted the seed of the gospel in their hearts and put a copy of the Book of Hope (the New Testament) in each one of their hands. God eventually allowed me to move back to Jamaica to assist my parents in their ministry at the city of Refuge, where I was an assistant director for three years. And that brings me to where I am today, as a Missionary Associate to the MK Office. I have always had a heart for my fellow MKs, and throughout all my other ministry experiences the only consistent thing has been my ministry to MKs. I look forward to serving you!
